Description:

Mission
Our mission is to develop regional branches of ABI in regions having suitable climatic conditions for the cultivation of Bamboo and support the local community by generating employment and a new sector of Business.

About
The African Bamboo Institute (ABI) is an international organization with headquarters in Madagascar and a European representative office in the heart of the Brussels city, in an Ethic and Sustainable Business Centre.
The AIB chose Madagascar for its headquarters because of the multitude of endemic species of Bamboo, as well as Madagascar's strategic position between Africa and Asia where the Bamboo sector is booming.
The AIB European Office is in charge of representation to European institutions and participation in economic development programs throughout the African continent.
